55 km from the Hotel Prategiano in Maremma Tuscany: Castiglione della Pescaia is a lovely sea-side town positioned along a headland of the Maremmana coast. Castiglione della Pescaia is a seaside village of Roman origin. In the tenth century, after a period of neglect, thanks mainly to the Republic of Pisa, Castiglione revived. Perched on a promontory of the coast, on one end are visible the Aragonese Castle, the walls and towers, while the other one has a magnificent view of the coast that allow one to this place quite unique splendor.
